We’ve just launched “Vibecoding 101” - a new course inside “The Stoa of AI”, our new community that I wrote about last week.
Vibecoding is where you get an AI to build software through just chatting with it. So you can bring your ideas to life with no technical experience needed.
The course is 1-hour and has 6 modules that teach you the skills to vibecode up anything. You’ll learn by making your own Snake Game with Claude Code.

Vibecoding 101
Last week I introduced The Stoa of AI, the community I built with Zeneca and Frank Zuuring for small businesses, solopreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to use AI to do more with less.
This week we’re launching a new course in The Stoa of AI community called “Vibecoding 101”!
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know I’ve written about vibecoding several times before. For those new to the term, vibecoding is the practice of building software by describing what you want to an AI in plain language, without writing a single line of code yourself.
In this hour-long course I take you through making your own Snake Game using Claude Code, covering the basics of vibecoding from scratch.
I chose to make a game because it’s fun and interactive, but the core learnings are transferable and can apply to anything you might want to build, be it an astrology app, a website for your swimming classes, or a landing page for your construction business.
Whatever you have in mind, this will be useful. Even if it’s not a business idea but rather a personal project you’ve always wanted to create but weren’t able to because you didn’t know how to code, well now you can!
You don’t need any technical knowledge at all, and you’ll do all of this without writing a single line of code yourself.
I’ve personally been a software developer for 15+ years and I share that knowledge throughout the course, but deliberately avoid getting too technical. Literally anyone can follow along without any sort of background in computer science.
The Course
The course is structured across 6 modules, with each video averaging around 10 minutes and covering one main topic.
From Idea to Software
Shows you just how simple it is to get started. With a single prompt you can create something real, in this case your own Snake Game.
GitHub: Give it a Home
Introduces version control and walks you through creating a code repository on GitHub. There are a few technical terms involved, but ultimately you’re just saving your app in the cloud, all by chatting with the AI.
Vibecode a New Feature
Takes the app you’ve saved to the cloud and shows you how to update it and push those changes back to GitHub so nothing gets lost.
Add a Backend: Make It Remember
Solves the problem of everything disappearing when you refresh your browser by adding a backend that lets data persist between sessions, once again just by chatting with your AI.
Collaborate with Pull Requests
Explains how multiple people can work on a project together using forks, branches, and PRs. It sounds more complicated than it is. In practice, with your AI alongside you, it’s trivial.
Refactor: Clean It Up
Closes the course by tidying up the code. You don’t write a single line, the AI writes all the code then does all the work of cleaning it up too.
Each module is easy to follow, and easy to pick up and continue where you left off. It’s been made to feel like you’re sitting alongside me vibecoding in real time, watching me work with the AI step by step. It’s not a lecture, but rather a hands-on course with practical outcomes.
The Outcome
Whether you’re a business owner with an app idea you want to build for your clients, or an aspiring entrepreneur with something you’ve always wanted to bring to life, this course will give you the core concepts and tools to actually do it.
In the community we’ve already seen people building all sorts of things: a medical app for cholesterol tracking, a prediction model for sports, and even a plant watering app that alerts you when any of 30+ plants need attention.
