We’re launching a new daily newsletter called “A Fox's DeFi Daily 🦊🗞️” giving a brief 2-3 minute daily update on news and trends in DeFi.
This is a new format so all feedback is very welcome as it will help to shape and improve the newsletter.
All current subscribers of “A Fox in Web3 🦊” will be auto-subscribed, you can unsubscribe from DeFi Daily without unusbscribing from this weekly blog.
With the launch of Yield Seeker, our new AI Agent that earns yield for DeFi users, we’re now tracking DeFi news and trends more closely than ever.
With that in mind we decided to launch a daily newsletter that’ll help readers keep a daily pulse on the happenings in DeFi.

DeFi Daily
A few weeks back I wrote a post about our new AI Agent “Yield Seeker” who’s been built to make DeFi easier to navigate by generating yield for you on auto-pilot. You can find this post and read more about Yield Seeker below.
With the creation of this new AI Agent we’re more focused than ever on keeping up with the latest DeFi news and trends.
And since we’re now actively tracking several DeFi data points I decided to make a daily newsletter to share this with readers that I’m calling “A Fox’s DeFi Daily 🦊🗞️”.
This will be a separate Substack to the current one you’re reading and will be sent at a daily cadence to readers.
All subscribers of “A Fox in Web3 🦊” will be auto-subscribed to DeFi Daily and you’ll receive the first issue today! Feel free to unsubscribe if you don’t want to receive it, this will not unsubscribed you from this blog as they are both separate.
Just like any new product this newsletter is in its early innings and will evolve over time together with your feedback, so please let me know if you feel you’d like it to include or change anything in the newsletter.
This first iteration of the newsletter will have the main sections shown below.
🗞 DeFi News
This section will cover the latest news in DeFi of the day, sharing between 5-10 top pieces of news. Each headline will include links if you want to dive deeper than just the headline, and it’ll look something like this:
🪙 Top Coins
This section will show the top fungible coins in the market and over-arching market data including the total space’s market cap, the dominance of BTC and ETH, and the current fear and greed index:
🏦 DeFi Overview
This section will show the latest DeFi data such as TVL, DEX vlume, DEX vs CEX dominance, and Perp Volume. Plus you’ll get a snapshot of the top coins in DeFi at this moment of time:
💵 Stablecoins
This section will show relevant Stablecoin data. Stablecoins are one of the most wide reaching products in DeFi, it’s where TradFi’s already getting involved, and continues to grow at a staggering pace.
💸 Top Protocols by Fee & Revenue
This section will show fee and revenue data for DeFi protocols. DeFi protocols are essentially businesses built in the crypto ecosystem, and tracking the fees spent gives us a good idea of how the sector is doing, whether its growing or shrinking.
Meanwhile the revenue earned gives us a clear indication of the DeFi protocols that are the most financially successful right now.
💰 Top Yield Pools by TVL
Since our agent Yield Seeker is focused predominatly on generating yield, this sector shows the top yield pools by TVL. It helps give us an approximate idea of the current state of APYs in the market for major assets like ETH and BTC.

Finally, every DeFi daily post will also end with a link to the latest post from this very blog you’re reading right now, which will look something like this:
It’s important to highlight that this is the first version and we may for example introduce a DeFAI section or similar considering Yield Seeker fits is a DeFAI product.
The most important thing with this newsletter though is to give you a quick snapshot of the current state of DeFi in under 3 minutes.
