TLDR:
My “30 Days of NFT Tech” (30daysofnfttech.com) course in partnership with ZenAcademy is finally coming out after months of work.
It was inspired by ZenAcademy’s original “30 Days of NFTs” (30daysofnfts.com), and is intended as a more intermediate level course about technical NFT concepts.
I love learning and helping others to learn about this space, so I hope many people will read it and it will provide value for new people for years to come.

Last week we kicked off an early sign up period for my “30 Days of NFT Tech” course (30daysofnfttech.com) in partnership with ZenAcademy!
It’s a 30 day email course and will officially land in people’s inboxes next week. I’m really proud and excited about the course so it felt only natural to discuss it in this week’s post.
30 Day Course
At the start of the year ZenAcademy released a free email course called “30 Days of NFTs” (30daysofnfts.com) that I really enjoyed. I was familiar with all the content but found it fun all the same to read a little bit about NFTs every day in my inbox.
It inspired me to do my own similar course and at some point in the year I took up the mantle of writing a “30 Days of NFT Tech” course following the same format!
The format being that for 30 days you receive a new 3-5 minute long email in your inbox where each email covers a self-contained topic.
The original course covered the fundamentals of NFTs in general, explaining terms like cryptocurrencies and NFTs.
Meanwhile my course goes much deeper into the technical side of the space, speaking about concepts like smart contracts, blockchain, consensus, and other fundamentals that underpin NFTs.
You may see some overlap in this weekly blog and my course as I’ve written about the same sort of topics in both.
What you’ll learn!
This course is intended for non-technical people in Web3 who want to learn more about the technology behind NFTs. It’s more of an intermediate course than ZenAcademy’s original so it’s a bit more complex and covers deeper concepts.
Each individual day’s title is shown in the picture below so you can take a quick glance through the topics covered.
As shown there’s all sorts of topics from smart contracts, to solidity, to the EVM, to security, to decentralisation, to consensus, to scalability, and more! It’s packed with a lot of different concepts that cover a whole gamut of technical elements about NFTs.
To keep the structure a bit more interesting I made it so the first 10 days are more theoretical then the next 10 days are more practical teaching you how to read and interact with smart contracts. Then we end with more theoretical concepts again up until you write your own contract - which is taken directly from this previous post.
Some courses lose their relevance in time but this one covers foundational concepts so I genuinely believe it should stand the test of time and still be relevant 10 years from now since most of what it covers has remained true since the space began.
With this course I hope the reader will become armed with knowledge for deeper conversations about NFTs and their genuinely interesting use-cases other than just speculation, because we have enough speculation in the space already.
Why create a free course?
There’s a few reasons why I made this free course (and also this blog!).
Firstly, learning is something I find really exciting and when I can teach something to others I know that I’ve genuinely learned it. Really the course and the blog are an excuse to learn new things regularly in this fast moving space.
Secondly, I get a genuine buzz when I’m able to help others learn something new, especially when it’s related to Web3. I’ve brought a lot of friends into the space and it feels really rewarding to have done so.
Moreover, I am simply obsessed with crypto and Web3 and have been since 2016 when I first discovered Bitcoin and fell down the rabbit hole, so I just love writing and talking about it. I credit a lot of what got me obsessed with the space to Andreas Antonopolous so I highly recommend watching his educational content (@aantonop).
Finally and very transparently, I hope to grow my visibility and authority in the space. With 7+ years in crypto I genuinely know a lot about it, I’ve worked with plenty of talented and influential people and want to be recognised in my own right under my pseudonym afoxinweb3.
So there’s a lot of reasons and I thought a free course delving into the technicalities of the space was a good approach for doing this as I hoped it would get the furthest reach possible.
I’m excited!
I’m excited that after months of work the course is finally coming out!
I’m excited that it was released with ZenAcademy which is a Web3 community I really like and respect as they are not just focused on ponzi schemes and hype. Zeneca has a genuine desire to educate people in the space and provide long-lasting value, as do I!
I’m excited that we’ve already got 100s of sign ups and lot’s of people will get to read it. This is honestly very satisfying in itself, knowing that people in the space will learn from my content for hopefully years to come.
Also I’m grateful for all the support from people like Zeneca for being up for the collab, plus Luca from ZenAcademy and our TokenPage designer Matthew who made it all truly come together.
If you haven’t signed up yet head over to 30daysofnfttech.com and if you’re quick you’ll get a free workbook as shown above that’s being released for a limited time only. It has a summary and questions for each day, using both Token Page and ZenAcademy branding - and I have to say it’s looking very cool!
Most importantly I hope everyone who reads the course get’s a lot of value from it!
